Crow

I could see the idea, like he’s
only talking to me
crow sitting on the window sill
then I tried to seek him out
tried to find him
but he never changed his strings
I thought he was
Caw, caw, callin’ me
Caw, caw, callin’
Callin’ me
I tried to link to him and his
striking double entendres
Wanted his wisdom
but he got no
double encore I heard
Not my kinda bird
No, no, no
Not my kinda bird with his
spiteful little lines
that old crow singing
on the window sill
trying to sound like a songbird
I thought he was
Caw, caw, callin’ me
Caw, caw, callin’
Callin’ me
Caw, caw, callin’ me
Callin’ me

Gaga for Gaga

I'm not feeling like myself
I wonder who I've become.
I used to think I was so smart
but now I know I am dumb.
I wish I could be somebody good,
wish I could be somebody.
Oompah, oompa loompa,
la la, alibaba,
I bathe with a loofa,
I'm goin' Gaga.
Transformation, transportation
it's all the same to me.
I'm not where I was because
I'm not where I used to be.
My identity, reality -
I want to be, want to be
Oompah, oompa loompa,
la la, alibaba,
I'd go for a two-fer
I'm goin' Gaga.
Tired of being me
I think I"ll change into a pop icon.
Time to get away and find
the means to get my Gaga on.
Exercise my thighs 'til my butt gets high
I wish I was Lady Gaga
Oompah, oompa loompa,
sitting on a sofa,
think I'll move to Boca,
I'm goin' Gaga.

Homecoming

I've tra-veled I've trav-veled all o-ver this old world so long just want to stop. lay down and just for a while rest these bones. I am so tired. Go-in' back to the place I used to call home.
I see the cor-ner where I smoked my first cig-ar-ette just out of sight of my front door. And now I see my front door ain't there a-ny-more. No, of course, house was torn down years a-go, but there's a hole in the ground and a stone with my name. I am so tired, think I'll lie down just the same.
Feels al-most like my mo-ther's arms, blan-ket of earth, so soft and warm, where I can lay these wear-y bones. At last at peace and at last I made it home, home. At last at peace and at last I am home.
