The horse slave met Chezebelle at the station and drove her to a state. She recovered quickly. Once in the house, the mechanized hallway monitor directed her to the drawing room where she first met Miranda, Rebecca and Daniel. The night was fraught with alcohol and hors d'oeuvres baked with care by the slave driver earlier in the day.

Having missed the horse, Flydehelm had to walk and arrived tired at the premises. He ate and drank lustily and retired early, leaving Chezebelle at Dan and Becca's call.

"Can I call you Chez?" asked Dan.
"No," replied Chezebelle.
